SSL VPNs enable remote access to email, corporate applications and files, and they are much more cost-effective, easy to manage and scalable than traditional VPNs. However, these "clientless VPNs" can also introduce new and serious security concerns.
Join a discussion of the security and business issues surrounding this emerging SSL VPN technology with Steve Coplan, Senior Industry Analyst at The451, Elad Baron, CEO and co-founder of SSL VPN solution provider Whale Communications, together with Al Alexander of Fortune 500 company Loews Corporation, and Dan Harman of Lewis Operating Corp., who will present case studies of how they have successfully implemented SSL VPN technology to provide secure remote application access to their dispersed and traveling employees.
The session will include a discussion of:
- Security issues to be aware of in deploying SSL VPN
- How to mitigate potential security vulnerabilities
- Case study of Fortune 500 financial holding company Loews Corporation. SSL VPN implementation
- Case study of real estate developer Lewis Operating Corp. SSL VPN implementation
