Perl UTF-8 Regular Expression Processing Remote Denial of Service

Perl is a programming language available for multiple platforms. The application is exposed to a remote denial of service issue specifically in "regexec.c" file when certain UTF-8 strings are processed in regular expressions. Perl version 5.10.1 is affected by this issue.
