RSA Conference 2002 Europe is Announced
Third annual RSA Conference in Europe addresses critical e-Security issues facing business, government & consumers

BRACKNELL, United Kingdom, June 6, 2002 — Organisers of the annual RSA Conference in Europe today announced that the RSA® Conference 2002, Europe will be held on 7-10 October 2002 at Le Palais des Congrès in Paris.
This third annual e-security conference and exposition in Europe is modelled on the US-based RSA Conference, the world’s largest security event, which attracted more than 10,000 attendees in February 2002.
The conference and exposition will feature more than 60 vendors, including major sponsors Microsoft, RSA Security, KPMG, Cisco, Schlumberger and Internet Security Systems. It will deliver keynote presentations – simultaneously translated into French – from industry leaders and international policy-makers, plus more than 85 individual breakout sessions on topics ranging from the latest in enterprise and developer security to the most current implementations of secure electronic commerce.
The 2002 Call for Papers produced an unprecedented number of submissions. A record figure of more than 500 were received and reviewed by an independent panel comprising representatives from Microsoft, Bankgirocentralen (BGC), KPMG, Hobson Audley and RSA Security.

This year’s RSA Conference offers an expanded catalogue of more than 85 classes, featuring a wide variety of workshops, seminars and talks.
Costs and Registration
Full conference fees include admission to all conference proceedings, general sessions, class tracks and exhibits, as well as access to the Welcome and Expo Reception and morning and afternoon refreshments. An Early Bird rate of €930 is available until 28th June. From 29th June to 16th September registration will be discounted to €1,150, and from 17th September up to the start of the RSA Conference attendance will be charged at the full conference rate of €1,450. Fees for the Enterprise & Developer Tutorials are priced at €375.
Admission to the Exhibition section at the RSA Conference 2002, Europe is free with advance registration. The Exhibition is open to the general public.
