iPhone OS 3.0.1 fixes SMS security issue

As we learned this week at Black Hat, a memory corruption issue exists in the decoding of SMS messages and receiving a maliciously crafted SMS message may lead to an unexpected service interruption or arbitrary code execution.Apple released iPhone OS update 3.0.1 which addresses the issue through improved error handling.
