Beta version of safeSEARCH v2.0 browser toolbar

CyberDefender’s safeSEARCH Toolbar v2.0 BETA is a free browser plug-in that offers an improved search experience while protecting personal information and ensuring privacy. This latest version of safeSEARCH Toolbar gives users the ability to preview website security rating and user ratings before entering a selected website.

In addition, safeSEARCH v2.0 provides instant access to critical site details such as site owner, host country, IP address for the site, contact information, popularity ratings, affiliated websites, and a brief site description to help users make an informed decision before entering a potentially unsafe website.

safeSEARCH v2.0 also helps users clearly distinguish between safe and dangerous websites within search results from Google, MSN, Yahoo and AOL, among other search portals. Each time users search via their favorite search engine, safeSEARCH v2.0 displays a useful website rating icon within the search results.

The beta version of the toolbar will be available for download beginning January 30, 2008 on – now you can just register for it.
