Possible exploitable bug in Safari for Windows

Researcher Aviv Raff found a bug in the just released version of Safari web browser for Windows. Although it is still in beta, his blog post highlights Apple’s note on the download page saying that Apple engineers designed Safari to be secure from day one. According to his blog, he used a browser integrity utility Hamachi and got the following error:

Raff concluded: “A first glance at the debugger showed me that this memory corruption might be exploitable. Although, I’ll have to dig more to be sure of that.”
