The US-based PC WORLD –magazine has selected the 50 most important people on the Web. F-Secure’s Chief Research Officer Mikko Hyppönen is rated as
#43 on the list.
Mikko Hyppönen has worked in the IT security business since 1991. Under his leadership F-Secure research teams have stopped several worldwide computer virus epidemics. This has earned F-Secure an international reputation as a very fast and reliable antivirus company. Mikko Hyppönen has been giving speeches around the globe and he has been a visible IT security spokesperson in major media, including CNN, BBC, The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek. He has also written articles for publications like Scientific American and Foreign Policy.
