MessageLabs, the leading provider of email security and management services, has conducted research to investigate how ready UK businesses are to counter these sophisticated threats and on Tuesday 26th April at 11am in the Press Briefing Room at Infosecurity 2005, CTO, Mark Sunner will be revealing the findings. The briefing will also be an opportunity for press attendees to hear about the significant investments being made in MessageLabs’ enterprise infrastructure. The company will introduce the product vision for its range of email security and management services over the coming year that will further ensure businesses can ‘Be Certain’ about their ability to deal with email risk.
On stand 430, email security specialists from MessageLabs will also be offering expert opinion and advice on the most recent security developments. Mark Sunner (CTO), Paul Wood (Chief Information Security Analyst), Alex Shipp (Senior Anti-Virus Technologist) and Steve White (Senior Anti-Spam Technologist) are among those representing MessageLabs, and will be on hand to provide information and guidance on the latest email security threats.
During the show, representatives from MessageLabs will be giving regular presentations and demonstrations on various email security issues, including managing threats from uncontrolled email content, and detailing the MessageLabs product roadmap. MessageLabs is also launching its new “Email Business Risk Evaluator", which enables businesses to create a personalised assessment of their organisation's email risk vulnerabilities. The tool then assesses the potential impacts on business, and develops a business case for business continuity, confidentiality, compliance and content control. Each day of the show, visitors to the MessageLabs stand will also have the chance to win an iPod Mini.
Additionally, on Thursday 28th April at 2.15pm Mark Sunner will be speaking at the Infosecurity Technical Seminar. The title of this presentation is: ‘Time and Vulnerability: The Virus Window of Opportunity’.
