McAfee delivers new security suites

McAfee released McAfee AntiVirus Plus 2015, McAfee Internet Security 2015, McAfee Total Protection 2015, and the McAfee LiveSafe 2015 service that protects a customer’s data and identity across all the PCs, Macs, smartphones and tablets they own.

McAfee recently upgraded its malware detection engine to improve detection and device performance helping to protect consumers against today’s advanced threats. Also, the cross-device product includes the ability to easily add additional devices for protection with just one click.

Additionally, McAfee LiveSafe 2015 service represents the next generation of cross-device protection for consumers to help keep their devices, personal data and identity secure. As the first security suite to include cutting-edge voice and facial recognition authentication, users can safely store sensitive and personal information such as wills, deeds and passports in a secure cloud storage vault. McAfee LiveSafe 2015 service also includes a cloud-based password manager so users can easily manage their online passwords.

According to a recent McAfee study, Safeguarding the Future of Digital America in 2025, the average U.S. household owns three to seven devices, and it predicts that number will almost double in the next decade.

Today, and increasingly in the future, an unprecedented amount of private and personally identifiable data is and will be collected and distributed, especially as more consumers move to using connected appliances and wearable. With this comes increased risk for a host of sophisticated attacks and scams. Given these findings, McAfee continues to deliver new and improved products to meet the growing needs of consumers as they spend more time on connected devices.

“With the proliferation of connected devices and as consumers connect with more devices, the security needs will dramatically change and evolve,” said Gary Davis, chief consumer security evangelist at McAfee. “With this in mind, we remain deeply committed to delivering innovations that safeguard the digital lives of consumers across the devices they use wherever they choose to connect.”
