Security B-Sides events are free, community events organised by local individuals, with the express goal of enabling a platform for information dissemination.

This year's London event took place on April 24 and featured three tracks, the lockpicking village, NetWars as well as some workshops.

Unpatched, vulnerable PDF readers are a big security issue for private PC users. 14% of PC users in the US have an unpatched operating system, and that Oracle Java yet again tops the list of applications exposing PCs to security risks.
