Symantec warns of Veritas NetBackup exploit

Symantec renewed its warning to Veritas NetBackup customers that they could be at risk of system-takeover attacks as a result of exploit code being released to the public.

The code in question can capitalize on systems that have not been patched against the buffer-overflow vulnerability that Symantec announced two months ago.
