Cyberthieves exploit Christmas shipping deadline

E-tailers have circled Tueday on their calendars and so have cyberthieves. That's because it's the last day for many consumers to order a gift online and have it delivered before Christmas without paying extra for shipping. It's also the day malicious hackers and fraudsters attack with a vengeance.

Chrome extension thwarts user profiling based on typing behavior

Infosec consultant Paul Moore came up with a working solution to thwart a type of behavioral profiling. The result is a Chrome extension called Keyboard Privacy, which prevents profiling of users by the way they type by randomizing the rate at which characters reach the DOM.
