Security worries Net users

US consumers are more concerned about identity theft and the security of online commerce in the wake of recent data breaches, say surveys released last week.

A Conference Board survey shows more than half of online consumers say their concern has grown over the past year and many have changed the way they use the internet, with some scaling back online purchases.
