Secure computing eases security incident reporting

Thursday, 16 June 2005, 2:53 AM EST

In the spirit of making things simpler, Secure Computing on Monday shipped new integrated security-incident reporting software.

Dubbed Sidewinder G2 Security Reporter, the product is a logical complement to Secure Computing's intrusion-prevention appliances and could bring a good up-sell opportunity, said Trent Jacobi, a security consultant with Netdirect Systems, a solution provider based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Sidewinder G2 Security Reporter can be installed on a Windows-based server.
