Local authorities under great web security threat

Local authorities and small government departments are at the greatest risk of IT security breaches in the public sector according to web management specialists, System Associates.

The company attributes the problem to the rapid pace of change in respect to IT security threats, combined with the lone IT manager’s inability to maintain an adequate security skill set, due to the pressures of performing several IT roles.
