Award recognises US professor's contribution to cyber security

The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, (ISC)2, has presented Dorothy Denning, one of the world's leading information security experts, with an award for her contribution to cyber security and encryption.

Denning, who has advised government agencies and businesses on information security, and is the author of 120 articles and four books on the subject, was presented with this year's Harold F Tipton Award in recognition of her outstanding work in the field.
