CA, Symantec bolster recovery, ID management

Computer Associates and Symantec have intensified efforts to integrate security more tightly with traditional IT functions.

Last week CA announced a new architecture for processing identity and access management that will become the backbone for its next-generation eTrust security product, while Symantec revealed plans for a new version of LiveState Recovery Manager that targets the enterprise.

Compromised cPanel "Account Suspended" pages redirect to exploit kit

The code redirects visitors to another URL where the Fiesta exploit kit is hosted, which then tries to detect and exploit several vulnerabilities in various software. If it succeeds, the visitors are saddled with a banking Trojan.
