Inside security attacks are more frequent than external
According to FBI statistics, discontented and former employees account for up to 65% of security breaches.
"To combat this, tools such as password analysers and system scanners that identify weaknesses can be of great assistance, as well as firewalls and virus detectors.
"More and more software is becoming available. There are even very useful Internet usage monitoring tools available. These tools monitor Internet usage - such as the screening for inappropriate material and the detection of inappropriate applications. Other tools can block a variety of Web content, protecting companies against a myriad of possible legal liabilities."
