Thursday, 20 January 2005, 12:09 AM EST

Oracle has released a critical patch update -- the first to come out since the company decided to release fixes on a quarterly basis -- that remediates several products across its business line, including databases, application servers , and its e-business software suite.

"This Critical Patch Update is a cumulative update (including Oracle Security Alert #68) containing fixes for multiple security vulnerabilities," Oracle says. "In addition, it also contains non-security fixes that are required [because of interdependencies] by those fixes."
