DEF CON 10 Call for Papers Announcement
Papers and presentations are now being accepted for DEF CON TEN, the largest "hacking" convention on the planet. Papers and requests to speak will be received and reviewed from nowuntil July 1st. The sooner you contact Defcon team with the appropriate materials, the sooner your spot is reserved.
New for this year is a con CD ROM. This will contain stuff. Some of the stuff will be a copy of your presentation, tools, white papers, and other stuff you want the audience to know about.

These are some of the cool happenings that will be hosted at this year's Defcon.
- The two break out areas will hold around 150 people each, and will be used for specific demonstrations or talks that would not work well in the really large speaking areas
- This year broadcasting will be held on 3 separate channels of the hotel's internal TV system. One channel will be playing movies, anime, and other kinds of entertainment. The other two will be used for broadcasting the speakers.
- An expanded version of the classic CTF contest, this year will feature more audience participation. There will be multiple IDS systems plugged into wall projectors reporting on what is happening.
