Merry virus to you

Two holiday-themed viruses, Zafi.D and Atak.age, have been reported by security firms. Both threats use Christmas greetings and promises of a holiday card to lure users into opening malicious attachments.

Security companies Secunia, F-Secure, MessageLabs and McAfee have all issued warnings about this latest round of infected attachments, which can be used to create a backdoor in user systems.
