Security: the hierarchy of needs for today's CIO

Every CIO worth his or her salary knows the litany of security options available beyond basic anti-virus software or firewalls. The challenging part is outlining a security strategy that protects against ever-evolving external security threats (e.g., viruses) and internal threats that are triggered by human behavior (e.g., sharing passwords.) The trick is to deploy the right strategy and to do it quickly and within budget.
