HP beefs up security on Pavilion, Presario lines

Hewlett-Packard announced it would add third-party security and anti-virus software to its consumer and small-business Pavilion and Presario platforms.

HP will install Symantec's Norton Personal Firewall and Norton AntiVirus on all new Pavilion and Compaq Presario PCs, and will include a 60-day subscription to those products' update services.
