Phishers come up with a new scam

A new kind of phishing scam alters the website of a financial institution, allowing the perpetrators to collect customers' banking details while using the bank's own website, the network security provider Netcraft reports.

The organisation targetted in this manner was SunTrust Bank, an American institution which, as of June 30, had total assets of $US128.1 billion and total deposits of $US85.5 billion.
