Security spending grows

Although most firms are increasing the amount they spend on IT security, only about a third have a board member dedicated to the issue, according to a recent report from security specialist Netegrity.

Almost two-thirds of companies have increased the amount they spend on IT security, while a further quarter have not changed their spending level, according to Netegrity's research.
