Siemens offers security service

Siemens Business Services, Inc., one of the world's leading providers of IT infrastructure solutions and services, announced the expansion of its network security services portfolio to complement its SieQuence solution (patent pending). The services will be delivered in part through an alliance with managed security services provider Guardent, a recognized leader in information security services. The enhanced security solutions, which combine the company's security consulting expertise with a suite of managed security offerings, allow Siemens Business Services to identify, analyze, expose and manage vulnerabilities in a client's network and host-based environment.

The expanded managed security offerings include Firewall and Virtual Private Network Services, which provide active monitoring and management of firewalls and security events, Intrusion Detection which provides real-time detection and response to network security threats, proactive Vulnerability Protection Services utilizing a combination of automated and manual tools, and Incident Response and Forensics programs to help customers contain and recover optimally.
