Plan a privacy week

Employee education must be part of every agency’s privacy and information security program. So, how do you craft a privacy program that effectively educates your agency’s work force from the chief executive to interns?

Annual computer security and privacy awareness training for all employees is a good start, but it is just the beginning. Planning an agencywide “privacy week” or similar event is an excellent way to put privacy center stage and demonstrate your agency’s commitment to building a culture of privacy and security.
