China has 750,000 zombie computers in U.S.

A former senior U.S. information security official says there are nearly three-quarter million personal computers in the United States taken over by Chinese hackers.

"This is a fact that should get everyone's attention," Paul Strassmann told Government Executive magazine columnist Bob Brewin.

Chrome extension thwarts user profiling based on typing behavior

Infosec consultant Paul Moore came up with a working solution to thwart a type of behavioral profiling. The result is a Chrome extension called Keyboard Privacy, which prevents profiling of users by the way they type by randomizing the rate at which characters reach the DOM.
