XML Digital Signatures can ensure that data comes from a trusted party and that it is unaltered, and XML Encryption can obscure sensitive information from prying eyes. But how can you use these technologies without destroying Atom structures? This article shows you how digital signatures and encryption can easily mesh with Atom data using the Apache Abdera API.
