Increasing vulnerability research supports security

Network security breaches have cost billions of dollars in lost revenues over the years. Companies are now racing to beat attackers to vulnerabilities, and this is aiding the growth of vulnerability research which can help to prevent breaches.

Analysis from global growth consultancy, Frost & Sullivan, finds that, while the well-known security research labs dominate the market, 31% of vulnerabilities are still disclosed by vendors and other organisations.
