Pentagon sets info-sharing strategy

The Pentagon aims to complete a plan by October or November to improve how it shares information. Defense Department Chief Information Officer John Grimes on May 4 signed the department’s “Information Sharing Strategy,” which provides an overarching vision for the plan.

The document lays out broad goals for how officials in the department will share national security information with other agencies, local authorities and foreign states.
