Nine out of 10 UK firms have VoIP security fears

More than 90% of UK firms fear that the speed of adoption of instant messaging and Voice over IP technologies is outstripping related security measures, research has found.

A survey of security managers and IT managers with responsibility for security at nearly 300 companies found that 93% felt adoption of the new technologies was moving faster than security developments.
