Microsoft contends that Windows Vista is its most secure operating system to date. Itís a audacious claim, to be sure, but there just might be something to it, too. According to Symantecís Advanced Threat Research (ATR) team, Windows Vista does deliver tangible security improvementsóalthough Vista itself is still far from invulnerable, Symantec researchers stress.
