Itís a problem so pervasive that some IT managers have started calling it the ďAfter-Christmas SyndromeĒ: every January and February, workers who received new gadgets flood IT departments with requests for network access.

Unfortunately, a surprisingly high number of companies donít have policies in place for dealing with personal mobile devices. And an even higher number lack an effective way to enforce the policies they have.

Chrome extension thwarts user profiling based on typing behavior

Infosec consultant Paul Moore came up with a working solution to thwart a type of behavioral profiling. The result is a Chrome extension called Keyboard Privacy, which prevents profiling of users by the way they type by randomizing the rate at which characters reach the DOM.
