Experts meet to combat child porn

Police and criminologists from 34 countries have begun a three-day meeting aimed at combating crime against children, especially pornography on the Internet, officials say.

Some 85 experts are taking part in the talks which follow a series of raids across Europe netting thousands of suspected paedophiles or customers of online child pornography sites.

The specialised group from Interpol, the international policing organisation, links experts from Asia, the United States, Europe and Africa and strives to keep up with rapid technological advances.
