Skinny tablet PCs pack Core Duo, security

Fujitsu claims this new pair of slate-style tablet PCs to be the first to offer the latest Intel Core Duo processors.

Both ST5100 series tablets offer hard drive data protection via an accelerometer-based shock sensing system, which retracts the drive's heads when sudden movement or vibration is detected. Interestingly, the shock sensor can also be set to password-lock the system when it is touched.
