I suppose it shouldnít come as any surprise that cybercriminals are demanding ransom ó in some cases up to several million dollars ó and threatening to launch massive, external targeted attacks if we donít pay up. No, it isnít surprising, but itís depressing. What started out as hacking has turned into something that threatens the very survival of innocent businesses.
