Survey reveals security doubts shape Internet behaviour

Symantec announced that more than 50 percent of Australian and New Zealand PC users consider the Internet fundamental to their daily lives but 80 percent of them remain unaware of online threats, according to a survey commissioned by Symantec, to support the National eSecurity Awareness Week. The survey canvassed 28,660 Symantec users in Australia and New Zealand to determine their attitudes toward Internet security.
