Last month, I provided 50 questions that complemented the first of a two-part series on the updated Security+ exam and helped test your knowledge on the subject of basic security and readiness for the exam/certification. This month, the remaining 50 questions are offered to further test your knowledge of the topic and help you prepare for this entry-level certification from CompTIA.

The actual Security+ tests consists of 100 multiple-choice questions that need to be answered within 90 minutes, and the questions that appear here closely mirror those you will find on it in terms of format and topic matter.

Chrome extension thwarts user profiling based on typing behavior

Infosec consultant Paul Moore came up with a working solution to thwart a type of behavioral profiling. The result is a Chrome extension called Keyboard Privacy, which prevents profiling of users by the way they type by randomizing the rate at which characters reach the DOM.
