Gartner calls Windows in Mac security concerns 'hype'

Some reports have speculated that users employing Apple's new Boot Camp software to run Windows XP on a Mac may place themselves at risk of catching Windows viruses.

Gartner analyst Michael Silver dismissed such fears: "All users should ignore any hype about the possibility of exposing the Mac OS to more viruses or worms."

Chrome extension thwarts user profiling based on typing behavior

Infosec consultant Paul Moore came up with a working solution to thwart a type of behavioral profiling. The result is a Chrome extension called Keyboard Privacy, which prevents profiling of users by the way they type by randomizing the rate at which characters reach the DOM.
