Sony rootkit may lead to regulation

A U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official warned that if software distributors continue to sell products with dangerous rootkit software, as Sony (Profile, Products, Articles) BMG Music Entertainment recently did, legislation or regulation could follow.
