Cisco chief predicts end of 'pinpoint' security apps

Pinpoint security software is developed to address specific problems. For example, a popular category is software that locks down VoIP applications and monitors the network for threats specifically targeted at those systems. But implementing this type of application does not take the "whole body" of a network into consideration, Chambers believes.
