The fast and progressive development in the different applications of Information Technology, Database Systems, Network Management and Web-design in all types of Businesses and also in the Private & Governmental Sectors have become very crucial & essential issues, particularly as both drift towards e-Operation transactions, implying a significant need to establish rigorous counter measures against threats of computer crimes, hacking, unauthorized interference and many other security issues.

Driven from this demand, the Etisalat Academy, in collaboration with the major International IT Security Giants and IT Industry leaders, will host its Forth Middle East IT Security Conference, MEITSEC-2004, during the period December 12 to 14th, 2004; with two special workshops, pre-&-post Conference, to support executives in their daily activities, on December 11 & December 15-16, 2004.

The Conference will be addressed in three tracks, after the daily plenary sessions, for IT Security Management, Legislative & Forensics professionals; E-Commerce & E-Government Model Security and Mobile & Wireless Security Systems and Infrastructure & System integrity- related professionals. The Conference will also feature 12 different hands-on sessions, covering a variety of IT Security topics, led by more than 30 world class IT leaders & experts in the field. Delegates may choose any of these sessions, according to their background and interest.
