You can also use SANS Amsterdam 2003 as the starting point for getting certified. The GIAC program offers you the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and competency in basic and advanced technical subject areas. Track 1 students will be prepared for either the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) or the ISC(2) CISSP certification. Track 2 students will be prepared for the GIAC Certified Firewall Analyst (GCFW) certification. Track 4 students will be prepared for the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification.
