SANS Network Security 2003 Annual Conference

Date: 13 November-19 November 2003
Location: Sheraton New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
Organizer: SANS
Homepage: http://www.sans.org/ns2003/

Our national conferences offer many benefits: only highest rated instructors are invited to teach there, our largest security product expositions are there, and the evenings are full of bonus sessions on new technology and birds of a feather meetings. At Network Security 2003, you'll find ten in-depth, hands-on, immersion training tracks for technical and management people who are serious about their careers and about improving security for their employers. Completely new at NS2003 is SANS 17799 Security and Audit Framework, a non-technical course for security managers and auditors looking for the big picture in information security.

All of our courses have been updated of course, but in particular, our SANS Security + S has been completely rewritten and the Hacker Track has far more hands-on components so you can practice as you learn. SANS has always been the conference for "techies," but we recognize that skilled and knowledgeable managers are just as important to effective security. At NS2003 we have three programs for managers including the unique and very successful four day (shorter than our other tracks), SANS Security Leadership program designed for CIOs and other senior managers.

Whether you choose our hands on technical training or our leadership courses, you can count on them to meet the SANS promise: What you learn in the course, you will be able to apply the day you get back to the office.
