We decided to rent the whole hostel (or even group of hostels if it’s necessary) and turn it into the real hacking space – a place to sleep, to party and to hack - only for CONFidence attendees. While registering you can choose to stay in Hackers’ Squad for 14 EUR/night. It is not only cheap, but also convenient (the Hackers’ Squad is located in a walkable distance from the conference center) way to stay in Krakow during CONFidence.
We have a pleasure to announce that Bruce Schneier has accepted our invitation to deliver keynote speech at CONFidence 2009. Bruce, an American cryptographer, described by many as ’security guru’, is without any doubts one of the key figures in global security community. Before he started BT Counterpane , he worked for DOD, AT&T. He is an author of many books and publications.
Joanna Rutkowska will start the second day of the conference. She is a world wide known security researcher, an excellent specialist on virtualization security. Joanna is a frequent guest at prestigious conferences such as BlackHat and HiTB. It is also the second time we have a pleasure to hear Joanna at CONFidence and her presentations have always caused heated discussions during the conference.
