oin us as the smart card industry gathers for a special conference event, called the 2007 Smart Card Alliance Annual Conference. The theme for 2007 is "Smart Cards: The Future of Digital Transactions". The conference will highlight the many new advances in market adoption and technology innovation for smart cards in North America, Latin America, and around the world. Each year at this conference, the Alliance organization brings together the entire smart card industry to learn about the recent advances that have taken place in the industry and the new trends and technology developments that lie ahead.

Exciting advances are taking place in the financial markets with contactless and mobile payments; government markets with large-scale identity credentialing projects; enterprise security markets with network access control and identity management system advances; transit markets with regional and national fare card changes; healthcare markets with electronic medical records and personal health cards; and mobile telecom markets with new SIM technology and NFC-enabled phones. As always, the conference program will feature end users and industry analysts along with leading technology and services providers sharing their first hand experience with implementing smart cards.
