As announced on CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment 2003 conference, carriers can now take the best out of the OEM version of Bluefire Mobile Firewall Plus - company's security solution for smartphones and PDAs operating on GPRS and CDMA networks.

Features and benefits include:
  • Powerful firewall engine protects against multiple hacker attacks.
  • Built-in security levels are easily selected through an intuitive graphical interface.
  • Real-time logs and alerting make it easy to track security events and identify attack methods for quick and effective problem isolation.
  • Context-sensitive help documentation and customer support is available to answer questions and maximize product effectiveness.
Mark Komisky, CEO of Bluefire Security Technologies said: "Businesses understand the benefits of mobility, but they can not afford to risk the safety of their information or the lost opportunities that can arise from network downtime. To increase revenues within the enterprise market, carriers need to fully address their security concerns. By including Bluefire Mobile Firewall in their suite of data services, wireless carriers can meet this need and generate greater demand for their offerings.
