RSA Security yesterday announced a grand opening of RSA Developer Central, a new web site concentrated on the content geared towards Information Security software developers. Besides the articles and whitepapers on the latest security trends, the web site offers a discussion center and chat - functions that will help the developers benefit from the direct conversations and collaborations with fellow visitors."This is the first developer website created by professional security developers, for professional security developers with cross-discipline, cross-company information," said Victor Chang, vice president of the Developer Solutions division at RSA Security.
Some of the features that will be offered through the RSA Developer Central include:
- Technical articles on topics such as XML security, wireless security and cryptography basics
- Exclusive material geared to the RSA Security developer community, such as selected chapters from RSA Press books and complete documentation for RSA Security developer solutions.
- Direct links to documentation, sample code and specifications of RSA Security Developer Solutions Group products
- News and developments from RSA Laboratories, the research center for RSA Security
