Atick said: "The results of this round of the IBG Comparative Tests are very meaningful to Identix because we believe they demonstrate the superior performance of our minutia-based algorithm and further affirm our position as an industry leader. FRR measurement after an extended period of time after initial enrollment can be critical in real-life scenarios, where the viability of the stored fingerprint template over a long period of time is important. This can be particularly important in deployments that involve many remote and mobile users where there could be significant gaps in time between enrollment and attempted access. We believe these test results help position Identix well with the growing number of corporate and government enterprises that are looking for biometrics to provide heightened security solutions."
